On Nov. 30th, there was a free, half-day event in Washington, DC. The Diva attended that plus an invitational workshop in the afternoon.  The NAS has issued a book on the topic of Disaster Resilience.

The book, Launching a National Conversation on Disaster Resilience in America, is available from the National Academies Press.
