It has been pretty bad for many of us on the Central Coast of CA. I see the water truck out nearly everyday filling tanks as many neighbors’ wells are dry. Landowners and large wineries are fighting about water rights, but the city is backing the wineries as they provide such a large source of income. Even though these types of droughts are likely to increase, politicians are unwilling to talk about the issues and even less do something about it.
Great to see Ryan’s post about this drought in California and such a stark visual depiction of the drought in California.

Sorry to hear that. The topic needs major attention and CA is an important state. What will it take to elevate the concern?
