I respect the opinion but respectfully disagree – vociferously. The sooner we can get small businesses up and (kind of) running, the smaller the vast problems of unemployment and poverty we will have to try to solve later. More importantly, the longer the recovery will be. For every month we delay, we are likely to add another year to the time when we “recover.” Not reopening soon means people will die – albeit more slowly – from the poor health conditions that result from poverty. And I say this as one who is in the most vulnerable groups.
I hear you, but do not agree.
