State Water Resources Planning

As climate change affects communities across the U.S., some states are leading the way in preparing for the impacts on water resources. These states are reducing carbon pollution and planning for climate change impacts. Yet many states are not acting and remain woefully unprepared.

New Tool for Response – Cargo Bikes

While this is a bit off message, a little spring training will be good for everyone.  Some communities facing serious seismic risks are considering the use of cargo bikes for post event use. See Bicycles as Next Frontier for Disaster Response.   Some  European and Asian countries already have the jump on the U.S. in terms of popularity and numbers of such bikes.

And if you want to see some actual uses of cargo bikes, Google the term “cargo bikes” for some amazing examples of bike types and cargos.
