I never quite know what readers might find interesting, but the co. that supports this blog (WordPress) provides data on the topics readers hit on most during the past week; they are:
- Resilience
- FEMA
- Japan Earthquake
- Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill
- Economic Impact
- Federal Response
- Financial aspects
- Infrastructure
- Earthquake
- Sendai
Also mysterious to me is why readers go to older postings. I think some may be assigned reading for a class. I usually post information that interests me and hope that others share that interest or concern. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
Always enjoy your posts Claire no matter what the topic.
One area getting a fair bit of airplay downunder is that of recovery governance, especially given the recent experiences of the Christchurch earthquakes and Australian fires and flooding. (perhaps this is a topic you may like to discuss more?)
As a start some excellent papers on the topic were given at a recent ANZ school of government conference in Wellington NZ. The background papers and multimedia of presentations can be found at http://www.anzsog.edu.au/events/conference-2012/overview
Thank you. I plan to check out those papers.
Claire
Thanks for the info. That helps explain some of the hits on earlier posts. So many facets of social media remain murky to me!
When I first started following the blog, I found the posts so useful for background information that I went back and read all the previous posts. That may be happening as well.
