  1. A programing language named Ushahidi has been used in a number for disasters worldwide including the US and New Zealand. It’s based on reports from cell phone users.

  2. While very useful in metro areas, wondering about those rural area where demographics of low income, not savy to social media, perhaps lacking access that are often overlooked will be more out of touch than ever once we become more reliant on this.
