The August Complex Fire in Northern California has now burned an area larger than Rhode Island.
In this case, blaming climate change is a bureaucratic copout! Note that the main problems are occurring on publicly-owned, poorly-managed, forests. “Environmentalists” prevented proper forest management for decades; only this year has CA state government finally reached out to the USFS to begin the controlled burns needed to manage their forests.
