From the NYTimes: One Year, 400,000 Coronavirus Deaths: How the U.S. Guaranteed Its Own Failure. “After the White House declined to pursue a unified national strategy, governors faced off against lobbyists, health experts and a restless public consumed by misinformation.”
Interesting that NY guv’s devastating decision to move sick people into nursing homes isn’t mentioned. At least 30K deaths. Really listened to the science on that one! Gov DeSantis singled out for special criticism and yet both FL cases and deaths less in absolute numbers (and much less per capita) than NY. And the economic damage much less. It seems the Times has a “If you’re a Dem, we will see no evil” policy.
