Here is a commentary on the report from GovExec.com: FEMA is Losing Employees at an Alarming Rate. Burnout is leading to attrition as disasters spike, but watchdog also blames agency for poor workforce management.

    I just retired from FEMA after 10 years as a Reservist. I deployed virtually last year and it worked very well for my cadre and several other cadres. They could save enormous amounts of money if they allowed virtual deployments for positions that did not need to be “boots on the ground”. As a former FEMA employee, I feel I cannot publicly comment, except anonymously,
