Failure to Plan for COVID-19: the Anniston, AL Example

Example of failure to plan and coordinate at all levels of government. From the WashPost; Coronavirus rumors and chaos in Alabama point to big problems as U.S. seeks to contain virus. Rumor mill, lack of communication by federal officials undermines trust in plan to relocate quarantined patients.

  1. Interesting but…has this story been approved by Mike Pence? I hope you’re not going all Deep State on us Claire! (Ha, ha.) On a more serious note, it’s interesting how Taiwan is handling quarantine: They’re putting the quarantinees (new word) who may have been exposed to the virus but are not symptomatic into pre-contracted hotels with SOP’s set up ahead of time, probably a lot better than empty military barracks. https://focustaiwan.tw/society/202003010011.
